JANUARY 21, 2010 – Celebration of Phil’s Life

The Henry family thanks you for your messages of condolence and for sharing your beautiful words about Phil on this web site. Your support has been such a source of comfort to us.

We invite you to join us in gathering together to celebrate Phil’s life. The Henry family will receive friends at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. The address for Schoedinger Worthington Chapel is 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH 43085 (located just south of I-270).

We will have a celebration of Phil’s life the following day at King Avenue United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. The address for King Avenue Church is 299 King Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.

In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made in Phil’s name to the following organizations:

  1. I am so sorry for the grief we are all feeling at Phil’s passing but PRAISE THE LORD he is free and no longer suffering. Cardinals have a very special place in our family so the cardinal showing up at Phil’s passing is just a wonderful sign to give you peace. God Bless you.

    My heart goes out to you,I can only imagine your sadness. What a journey you have all been on,what a fighter Phil was to the very end.
    I hope that in the end you can take great pride in how strong your family has become, through your tremendous committment to Phil and his daily struggles and support for each other. You are all tremendous people and a true example of the power of love and strength of family. Phil will never leave you, or anyone one else that experienced his adventurous nature and love for life.

  10. I just wanted to post tonight. I recently returned from Phil’s memorial service. I just wanted to say I was truly humbled at the turn out. With temps in the single digits, people that waited in the lines to pay there respects to the family . It nothing more than amazing. With the pictures shown on the screans and Phils own music you could feel Phil among us. You could almost hear him saying these people loved me and I them. Thank you Henry family for sharing Phil with us and his journey ….
