Phil’s good friend, Dave Tuttle, is organizing a scramble golf outing to benefit Phil’s Fight Fund. Dave is a member of the Families for Life Foundation that will be sponsoring the 2008 Rex Karnes Invitational Golf Outing on September 13th at Raymond Memorial Golf Course. Registration begins at 6:45am and the shotgun start begins at 7:30am. It will be followed by an awesome Schmidt’s buffet! The cost is $80/person. Each golfer will receive one ticket for a chance to win an autographed Jack Nicklaus putter! Also, you don’t have to golf to join in the buffet.
For more information, registration and sponsorship opportunities, contact Dave Tuttle at 614-205-8932 or visit their website at: www.familiesforlifefoundation.org.
In conjunction with the golf tournament, Dave is organizing a silent auction on Thursday, Sept. 11th from 6:00-9:00pm, to be held at the O-Patio on campus. They have awesome items to bid for including Blue Jacket tickets, two weekly clubhouse passes to the Memorial tournament next year, and so on! They will also be picking the winner for the OSU vs. Michigan game package raffle around 9pm. Call Dave if you would like to buy or help sell the raffle tickets.
We hope you all will be able to join in the fun!!

Awesome!! Dave Tuttle…you rock! How wonderful that someone else has come up with a great way, to have fun & help you Phil! You are blessed dear man, truly blessed!!
I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful turn out!
I won’t be blogging for a week, heading to the ADK Mtns upstate NY, for some clean air, no internet, no phones..ahhh, love it!
My words of wisdom until I return to check up on you again….

Thanks Megan for helping get the word out, and thanks Katie for the kind words.
A few additional items- we are having a silent auction on Thursday Sept 11 at the O-Patio on campus where we will be picking the winner of the OSU/(state up north) football game package. The winner will get two tickets, a tailgate party for 20 and whatever else we can pull together before the game (hopefully a stadium parking pass). I will get some raffle tickets to Phil to sell or you can contact me at 205-8932 for info.
Some of the auction items Thursday will be: 2 clubhouse passes (all week) to the Memorial tournament next year, OSU football tickets, Fort Rapids tickets, Blue Jackets tickets, etc…… There will be live entertainment by the lead singer of Conspiracy as well as some other cool surprises.
The golf outing (Saturday 9/13) will also have some nice prizes available. The grand prize for the raffle is a signed putter from Jack Nickolaus. We were going to have this item for the silent auction but changed our minds in order to have a special prize for those who are golfing. Each golfer will receive one free ticket.
Please spread the word and get behind these fun events. Just think- get up early, golf, have an great Schmidt’s brunch, take a nap, shower, party and watch the Bucks give it to USC… what a day!
Hope to see all of you soon,
Tut

I hope you have a great day and that each day ahead is better than the one before it.
